    I was just wondering if 33ms is so bad, why the hell do you even release such monitor? if you can't do anything multimedia with it!

    Cracking display for Word or Excel. If you use it right, at its native resolution only. 33ms isn't that bad - just the slowest commercially available model these days. It should certainly be tolerable. 33ms translates to an equivalent refresh rate of 30Hz - better than TV's 25Hz (50Hz with interlace, but that's cheating).

    How did you come up with that?

    I'd say he came up with it by going: 33 ms = screen updates every 0.033 seconds which corresponds to a frequency of 1/0.033 = 30 Hz or there abouts

    Does that mean he thinks a 16ms screen is worse than a 33ms screen? :confused:

    Nope. Freqency = 1/Time

    F= 1/.016

    Roughly 62Hz probably 60Hz

    Interesting! Good spot there Michael Collins

    I thought that they didn't have a refresh at all...

    that's correct - the whole screen will only update if every pixel in the image changes, since TFT displays only change whatever part of the screen needs to be changed.

    33ms not good enough for games, I dont notice a difference with 25ms but the consensus is 16 or less is better
