With now only 4 teams participating in this new competition for weaker football counties is it time to call a halt to it altogether.

There are now just four teams remaining in the competition with Clare now playing Louth on August 7th and Antrim and Sligo on the other side of the draw.
Apparently the Sligo squad are looking at withdrawing also so this will leave 3:-)

The only regret we have in Kilkenny is that we missed maybe our greatest ever chance at getting to the semi finals of a national senior football competition.
Is it too late to enter:-)))

Cant see this thing going ahead?????

Represented by my own parish of Kilmacow if memory serves me correctly.

Kilkenny have 3 Leinster titles and won the first ever. 1888, 1900 and 1911. Though it might be a surprise to many people, there are 10 counties in Ireland that have won less provincial titles than they have and all of those compete in the Championship, as should Kilkenny.
