My friend owns a clothes shop and in the shop there's a plasma screen with MTV or some music channel running on it. Now he wants to put advertising on it for special offers and stuff.

I'm going to connect the plasma to a PC through the s-video port but I was wondering is powerpoint the only/best application to use for displaying information? What other options do I have?

This I never got, people with Plasma's connecting PCs via Svideo or Composite and not through the VGA port. 99% of plasmas have a VGA port, use it! Svideo is a decent connection, but on a screen that large it will not look good enough.

Unless you are doing complicated animation, Powerpoint is fine, easy to update the info for anyone with limited Computer knowledge too.

Thanks Matt, I'll look into getting the vga cable. Whats the longest length you can get? I need to go 20ft with it.

Try Scala I-play. This is a low end broadcasting application.

One more question if there were more than one plasma screen, how would I connect them to one pc?

Not a bad application Brian, Thanks.

Get a (or a couple of) dual-head graphics card like a Matrox G450 or G550.
