    Arrested Development

    Anyone heard of this show?

    It's supposed to be great! Only been on for 1 season (as far as i know) in the US but seems to be huge!

    I wonder if RTE have any plans on showing it?

    If worst comes to worst, they've a Region 1 DVD of the first season coming out soon. Will probably buy that out of curiosity!

    I have seen all the first series and it is a very good quirky comedy. It is about a disfunctional family and how they cope after their father is jailed for tax evasion and they have to manage the family company.

    It was nearly cancelled due to average ratings in the States but because of it's quirky offbeat nature it has picked up a cult following and a second series has been ordered.

    Portia de Rossi (Ally McBeal & Sirens) is the only well known actor in it.

    ..and the emmy nomination helped too.

    It has been picked up for transmission on BBC2 and BBC4, if that helps. Due to start in september, I'm told.

    Sorry I knew he was in something before although I never really did catch much of Larry Sanders.
