IMO, it is interesting to watch people.

Even more so when people are put into a pressure cooker environment and have to get along. Then throw in prize money and a chance at fame and it generally brings out the worst in people.

It is the same reason that anyone else watches it, I reckon.

It allows people to bitch mercilessly about others in public too. That could possibly be why more women watch it than men.

I also think alot of people watch it as you get to see other people's private habits and realise that there own can seem quite normal in comparison. e.g., Jason's over the top grooming of himself before goin to bed....

Or how people interact with each other....

Stu and Michelle....how the group isolated Ahmed...etc

the way i see it, its the slowest story ever told. kinda like a jarmusch film.

I've identified two distinct BB watchers.

The first is the people who call and vote, who look up to the contestants and indeed the whole celebrity circus. These are the folk who vote foolishly, taking out the ones who cause confrontation, watering the whole thing down. Usually teenagers.

then theres the sadistic person who finds day to day small moments interesting such as the way someones smiley face momentarily crumbles to a put down. The people who watch the show in the hope that something negative(interesting) is gonna happen but never vote cos that would be "getting too close". Usually unemployed stoners.

Lucky for me im a self-employed tool fitter.

I have watch it a few times.

but i don't get the blot. it bad enough to staying in to watch people staying in a house. i would soon turn it over. i think it borring. theres better on the other side

go for a pint down too me local . but even then they sit and watch it. I go out to see life. and get away from the tv. soaps are all the same they teach the kidds new tricks. they should be censored.

the kidds learn all kinds of thing of them. maybe i am not with it. but give me some think worth while to look at.
