    Morning all,
    I dl'd a c64 emulator lastnight, I thinks its cc64 or c64s I cant remember at the moment.
    I then dl'd "Thrust" in .t64 format.
When i run the emulator I get the classic c64 screen. But how do i load the game? ie How do i point the emulator at the file.
Also, do i also need firmware for the tape deck to mount the game file on?

Im a complete noob at this so forgive me if my questions seem stupid.

    Cheers

    Wavey

If its CCS64, then press F9 or F10 (I can't remember which) and select a game. It will load automatically.

Oh, and read the manual! :D;)

    Cheers for the reply tmb.

If i hit f9 or f8 does that open the normal windows browser so that i can browse to the game file?

Oh and i didnt get a manual for the emulator. I take it that it must be on the download site somewhere?

No, but there's a much easier way to do it. Download sidplay2/w here: http://www.gsldata.se/c64/spw/ and get all the sid files (aboslutely tiny) ever done which are the game music here: http://www.hvsc.c64.org/ or inidividually found here: http://www.lemon64.com/music/sid/Hubbard_Rob/Thrust.sid

Load up and retro back to the old skool.
