Beta band gig last night

    What did everyone else think? Best gig i've been to in *years*! Steve is such a great frontman & all around nice guy.

    But what was with the lack of air in the music centre? I complained to the staff that the audience and the band were all sweating like rapists, and they said the AC was turned on. Lies!

    Also, anyone standing in the front row near me would have seen the three tossers who won tickets to the gig (and weren't even fans), who took the piss out of everything Steve said between songs - and as they were in the 2nd row, the band could hear them. Morons! They also thought they'd be cool and smoke their way through half the gig. My my, I wish I was such a rebel.

    Totally agree with you about the heat, I went to get a drink and when I walked back in through the door from the front bar I nearly passed out from the wall of heat that hit me. Disgraceful stuff.

    Great show, but I had to leave early so I've no idea how long it went on for...

    Cheers mate, really appreciated the ticket! Gig went on til after 11pm. Just printed out a proof sheet of my photos, they're brill- trust me to leave my USB cable at home though, so I can't upload them til tonight. D'oh!

    In case you haven't heard the band have announced they are breaking up and will have a final UK tour of the UK in the Autumn before calling it a day. That was probably their last Irish show. Story on NME.
