Hey guys, I need to send money to America and was wondering if it was possible to get money orders in dolars rather than euro or sterling. Cheers

You probably can, but if it is for real money go with an electronic transfer.

The only cheques which are of any Value in America are A.I.B. ones because AIB have their own sorting house for cheques over there. Cheques from any other bank are useless but its better to check on money orders aswell because some banks in America won't accept an Irish money order either
