I have a Sky digibox installed in the sitting room.Without premium channels(28.50)

I want to get sky or either sky + in my bedroom.

Multiroom appeals, but subscription charges for sky + could be a nightmare(Requires sky world).

    CABLES/INSTALLATION question?
i had a cable brought upstairs to feed my multichannel box..
Could i use this cable to plug into my new digibox?.

I was thinking of a digibox on a once off payment type thing. But installation might be a hassle..Climbing up on roofs...2 FEEDS to the satellite.

N.B my telephone line is not connected to my existing digibox. Is this normal??.
I heard that you caN GET AWAY with subscriptions,if the phone line is not connected up to the box.

You cannot have sky multiroom without having both boxes connected to the same landline. This is how sky checks that both boxes are being used in the same house.

The details for installation pricing for sky multiroom are in the magazine that we get each month. Have a look at that. The subscription cost is €15 per month.

The cable running from existing Sky box to your room can be used for carrying the output from RF2 but it will be limited to what is on on the main TV (i.e. can't watch two channels at once). If you get a second feed it will require a direct connection to the dish so it is unlikely that the existing wire (from box to bedroom) will be used.
