Wondering if anyone has experience with these UPS's and willing to advise? Recently unpacked the above (subkect line) UPS after it was boxed in our companies storage room for a number of years. From it's appearance (quality control docket still attached) I would guess that this has never been used but I cannot seem to power the unit up and even the pass-through sockets, which should be able to supply power to a connect PC even if the battery is flat (not sure about dead) don't seem to be working. Windows cannot detect the UPS over a serial connection either.

Anyone got suggestions? I'm leaning towards the battery being dead and unrecoverable but thats just my feeling.
