This was ment to be on BBC 1 last night at 8:00. Anybody know what happened, was it put on early, cancelled or did I just pick teh wrong day to watch it.

The Golf ran a bit late so the BBC1 schedule was changed at the last minute. The golf commentators were apologising and said that the missing programmes would be shown next week. (Peter Allis was complaining himself as he said he like the Antiques Roadshow ).

Sport messing up the schedules yet again..... But perhaps we'd better not go down that road again!

I wondered what happened to it as well. I recorded the first episode last week and haven't had time to watch it yet. Set the VCR for last night's and wondered what had happened when I checked the tape to make sure I got it.

Was the first episode any good? I'll probably hold off watching until I've taped the others then watch on consecutive nights.

What is this? is it a TV series based on HG. Wells' story?

It looks at teh history of the earth from a slightly different prospective each week, but use's a lot of very high quality computer graphics.

Well worth watching, even if you are not into that geogology / nature stuff.

at least it doesn't have Samantha Mumba in it...
