    Hi,

I'm just outside the limit for DSL, don't fancy shelling out my life-savings for Satellite and cable doesn't extend as far as me.

Does anyone know of a company providing wireless broadband in Limerick?

    Mike

    Hi all,

If you want to help grow the wireless network, then give us a shout at :

(We are the "irishwan crowd" - we do our best, but we aren't a Broadband provider imho)

    regards,
    Dave

I am also in Lisnagry and for years Eircom said the line was not suitable for Eircom broadband, which means resellers like esat, perlico are also not able to supply it on eircoms network.

Then came Magnet and Smart who have now setup their ADSL2+ equipment in the Castletroy exchange. You may not get the full quoted 3Meg download rate / 256K upload rate. I've got 2.3Meg download and 156K upload. Anyway, sure beats 44k dialup link.

    :D
