    hey,

    im starting up a website this september. i would like to include a message board but i have no idea how to go about it. anyone got any pointers for me??

    you'd need to have decent webhosting that offers a database (typically MySQL) and something like PHP/ASP. Boards runs on a PHP/MySQL platform.
    There's plenty of boards out there to pick from, phpBB is a decent free one.

    and how do i incorporate it with my website, ie how do i get it up and running? do ineed to know any further languages?

    it s ver easy to setup.

    Firstly you download the files from the php website.. Upload them to your webspace .Run a wizard whihc will do most of the setting up for you.

    You do need a database.

    I can help you setup the forum if you want.

    Whats the website on etc.
