    Hey all,

Living in Swords and am stuck with Chorus
Have being looking for an alternative for awhile now, but Sky doesnt suit. We need to be able to watch different channels in different rooms (Digital in one room is fine as long as someone can watch analog in another). Sky will involve keeping Chorus to watch different channels.

Not to sure how NTL MMDS works - does it only receive Digital and in order to watch different channels we still need the subscription to Chorus? Or does it send both analog and digital signals so different channels can be viewed in different rooms? Or anyone else know how to get around this issue - ideally i would like to get rid of Chorus.....for obvious reasons!

    NTL's MMDS receives the following:

    1. An encoded digital signal.
    2. RTE 1
    3. NET 2
    4. TV3
    5. TG4

    Thats it.

We had a split cable out of the decoder that sent the signal to a TV upstairs as well as the main TV. When we upgraded from analogue to digital they left us with just the main TV attached, but I used the remaining cables to run the signal through the video and split it to the two TVs from the video output. Not ideal, but it worked.
