Was walking down Patrick Street earlier and noticed that it has got very grotty around Merchants Quay/Roches St even though its the "new" look.

    Winthrop St looked poor too...

    So there..

Would you expect anything else with all the norries spitting all over the place and dropping chewing gum everywhere?

Seriously though, the council made a bad choice with the coloured bricks they used. They're too light and will show up every puke stain. Also have you noticed that the rubbish bins leak this strange gunk that stains the footpaths around them. I stepped in it once by accident and by golly, did it stink!!

An Israeli-Palestine style wall by the north channel is the only answer!
