It must be some maintenance, the US were having the same problems earlier on today, i think its fixed for them now....hope it wont be too long...:/

No. But only because its blocked by poxy websense where I work. Otherwise it'd be gmail all the way.

ya, Im using it as my primary account now, its seems to be fine.

BTW its back in action now!

I still cannot sign into gmail- the space were you meant to put you name and password is not loading right my workstation desktop using IE explorer 6

Appearantly does not support opera browser wich i also use :rolleyes:

I have noticed that, its very strange
works fine in Mozilla for me though

Had trouble earlier trying to send outgoing email - a little popup window said woops we cannot send this now try later or something to that effect! Worked about 30mins later!

I started using it a few weeks back and no invites yet - and i am using it quite alot so if its based on usage god knows what you need to do!!

Turn off any personal firewall you have installed - I find that it doesn't work when I have ZoneAlarm activated.

As for Opera - I'm sure I got it working in Opera. You get a message that it's incompatible but the option to try anyway. Not sure what I have Opera advertising itself as. I'll check when I get home tonight and let you know.

I haven't been able to log in at all today, was getting a service temporarily unavailable there but now getting a cannot find server...even tried turning off zone alarm

I never had any problems signing in - i'm also using it as my primary account and only problem i had was unable to send messages for about an hour the other day.

Eh you shouldn't have any problems using gmail through a proxy/firewall.
