Okay the monkeys heard a song by Johnny Cash and started scribbling. Below is what was inspired by a lyric of his. (No idea what the song is called, have tried to find it since I heard it but have had no luck)

Comments....well you know the drill :)

    Beyond

Can you see the lone beast already?
In all his stencilled magnificent ivory,
Our carriage stood, on four white legs,
We walked closer, my hand in Meg’s.

From all around the voice of thunder,
    Shaken, jarred and falling asunder,
The horse moved, to help us along,
Instantly we’re trapped, locked in his song.

Climbing aboard we were filled with wonder,
As he showed us the site of our final blunder,
Then I saw, as our two eyes met,
Pale and lucid, this horse was our death.

I was only going to post one poem but those blasted monkeys didnt like that. They are very presistant, what with living in my head and all that. Anyway different theme but here ye go:

    From Thoughts to Prose

Inside my head there are fables to hear
Places to go to, so lend me your ear
The chaos of thoughts all up in a jumble
Sometimes they’re loud, sometimes they mumble

Sometimes I think that madness has got me
At times there’s war, just broken peace mostly
And then there are times when brilliance rules
Clarity of thought and idea’s like jewels

With stories to tell and characters to breath
Creativity can flow, helped along by weed
Coffee and cigarettes, oh how I miss those
No longer they help me to author my prose

So here I sit, at the very end of my tether
Hopelessly trying to bind storylines together
Will I fail or shall I succeed
I fear persistence be my only leave

Anywho, I think thats enough contrib out of me for a while. Let some other peeps get in on the action :)
