In case any of yis haven't seen this yet...

PJ HARVEY ANNOUNCES TWO IRISH DATES

"she slinks and stomps and shimmies and pouts and utterly bestrides her domain... it's great art and brilliant theatre" **** Keith Cameron, Q, July 2004

Following her triumphant weekend appearance at Oxegen, PJ HARVEY has just confirmed that she will return for two headline dates in September!

In support of her new album ‘Uh Huh Her’, Harvey will bring her stunning live show to The Olympia Theatre in Dublin on September 1st and Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on September 2nd.

Tickets for The Olympia show are on sale now from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

Tickets for The Waterfront Hall go on sale this Friday, July 16th from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.

Following her Oxegen appearance, these shows will give fans an opportunity to see her perform songs from her widely-acclaimed new album, ‘Uh Her Her’, up close and personal in the intimate surroundings of The Olympia Theatre and The Waterfront.

‘Uh Huh Her’ is the follow-up to her Mercury Prize-winning album, ‘Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea’ and was preceded by the brilliant single, ‘The Letter’ – her first since the blistering ‘This is Love/You Said Something’. ‘Uh Huh Her’ was written, performed, recorded, mixed & produced by Harvey, who chose Head to assist with additional recording and mixing and long-time collaborator, Rob Ellis, to play drums and percussion on the album. Multi-instrumentalist, Harvey, played everything else.

The 2nd single from the album, ‘You Come Through’ will be released in Ireland this Friday, July 16th. The track described as…“A stately love song. Simple and hugely affecting” – NME… will be backed by 3 new b-sides.

It’s been a busy summer for the much in-demand Harvey since the release of ‘Uh Huh Her’.

Kicking off with two warm-up shows at The Zodiac in Oxford, Harvey has been on an extensive European headline & festival tour and taken in shows in everywhere from Paris to Moscow – including an amazing set on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage last month.

Of which it was written "The stars of the day were the blazing sunshine and PJ Harvey...[she] hit on the perfect mix of raw rock and accessible pop" Lisa Verrico, The Times, 28 June '04.

After her Oxegen appearance last Saturday and T in The Park last Sunday, Harvey plays a trio of sold-out shows in London this coming Tuesday and Wednesday at Somerset House, and Brixton Academy on Thursday before she heads off to Portugal, Australia & Japan. September also sees Harvey embark on a headline tour of the UK, followed by tours of America and Australia from October through to November.

Don’t miss PJ Harvey live for two dates in Ireland in September.
