Anger Sparked

A bitter hatred grows inside, as focused angers fester rise.
My blood is pounding in my ear the jeers of others disappear.
Her twisted visage fills my mind, no trace of pity for her I find.
My memory of this is plain, and wounded fury still remain.
Ten years have passed since her attack. Now words of others bring it back.
like cancer growth upon my mind. No peace from it can I yet find.
