So who won it? Lafortezza, you had a healthy enough stack after i donated my last 2k to ya! How did you finish up?

Although Lafortezza may not know it, he got the bubble for going out seventh. Dapper came 4th, Rita 3rd, Joe O'Neill 2nd and Paddy 1st.

When there are x amount of places that get cash - i.e. tournie pays the last 5 - then the place before the cash, 6th in this instance, is the bubble. They get to play in a tournie at the end of the month all made up of people who were eliminated on The Bubble.

Being on the bubble means you go out 1 place off the money.

For example, in out €50 game (which we will be running again in Early August) we pay the last 9 players. If you went out in 10th you would have gone out on the bubble.

in the Fitz, for every time you go out on the bubble during the month you get a thousand extra starting chips for the bubble tournament.

In another way, the bubble is just fuqing annoying - like in the BSOP coming fourth in your monthly heat when only the top three go through to the final. TWICE.

There is no bubble in the bubble tournie. Something I always found unfair.

Presumably they'd take yer name etc if you came one off the money (or, "on the bubble" as they say in the army).

When is the tournament? Is it a satellite for the big 250 game?

Whiteshadow - were you on the bubble recently? (or were you just happy to see me)

It's at the end of the month. It's not a satellite but a cash-prize tournie. The satellites for the big one are on thursdays at nine and sundays at half six.
