Putting Powerpoint Files onto websites

    Can you put PowerPoint Files (eg. Slide-Shows) Onto Websites?
    If so, How?

    I'm guessing you have to design the page with a certain interface and then provide the ppt like you would with a standard url link.

    lots of your visitors are not going to have powerpoint or powerpoint viewer installed, so they won't be able to see it. There are apps to convert powerpoint to html (think powerpoint can do this itself) but if you've lots of animation and stuff they won't be great.

    I guess the question is why are you doing it? If its just to make presentations available, then leave them as files to download. If its to have animation on the web, then you shouldn't be doing it in Powerpoint.

    Then theres Stephens point about some poeple not having powerpoint installed. Is this a scenerio thats likely to happen?
