After looking at the play.com site, I noticed these:

He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe
    Dogtanian And The Three Muskehounds
Visionaries: Knights Of The Magical Light
    Dogtanian And The Three Muskehounds
    Ulysses 31
    Transformers

Hell, I'll add in Knightmare here too. I vaguely remember Inhumanoids as well. Anyone else remember any of these? (I'm sure a couple of them are familiar or have been done before. Just ignore them or comment, your call :))

Dogtanian and Knightmare (which I did not realise was filmed on a blue screen).

Now here's where I need your help: does ANYONE remember a programme where a girl or her dad was some sort of alien (maybe in a glass jar) and I think the credits were to that song 'Or would you rather be a pig?'.
I am so confuddled as to whether this existed in life or just my head?

Can we get married? That's been wrecking my head for 7 years straight.

I seem to have got a bit confused but I did know there was a jar somewhere in the equation.
Did it have a name or was that it?

Apologies for hijacking your thread Kennett, but I'm ever so excited and posting the lyrics to the soundtrack of my young life with the hope that I'll pull a few others into my memory:

Would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a mule

A mule is an animal with long funny ears
Kicks up at anything he hears
His back is brawny but his brain is weak
He's just plain stupid with a stubborn streak
And by the way, if you hate to go to school
You may grow up to be a mule

Or would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a pig

A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
His shoes are a terrible disgrace
He has no manners when he eats his food
He's fat and lazy and extremely rude
But if you don't care a feather or a fig
You may grow up to be a pig

Or would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a fish

A fish won't do anything, but swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book
To fool the people is his only thought
And though he's slippery, he still gets caught
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
You may grow up to be a fish
A new kind of jumped-up slippery fish

And all the monkeys aren't in the zoo
Every day you meet quite a few
So you see it's all up to you
You can be better than you are
You could be swingin' on a star

No problem, it's all good :)

It is mainly about memories anyway... Lead on as they say.

And, just to touch on the Knightmare subject, it seems as though they're doing a Knightmare remake.

The old Kightmare is being repeated at the moment, I think it's on the Bravo or Challenge if you have Sky or NTL.

Well I remember these shows because yesterday I popped Ulysses 31 - Volume 1 DVD in and watched the first episode, "Vengeance of the Gods" :) And later on that night, I watched "More than Meets the Eye - Part 1" the first episode of the original Transformers series (and best of course - I mean seriously, how f*cking awesome is Soundwave???). So yeah I recall 'em and am still a fan. Currently awaiting the arrival of the entire US Harmony Gold Robotech series (85 episodes worth) in a further effort to recapture my childhood and always intend to get around to watching all 39 episodes of Mysterious Cities of Gold that I have...
