Standalone Windows DVD Player - Free if possible

Hi Ya

I need to get my hands on the stand alone DVD players for Windows XP. When I say stand alone I mean something that can be run of a CD or network drive without the need to install files on the C: or in the Windows directory... Windows Media player 9 is installed already if thats any good...

Any help would be appreicated.

You should just get back to work tbh. Or install a program on the cd and include a reg file that can be imported into the reg on your work machine

mplayer(it's a standalone) can play dvds but you need to have mpeg2 codecs, which means again using C:

but that is the closest you can do
