Don't know if this is the right place for asking about drivers but...
I've accuired and old Aopen CRW1232, a cd-writer, and I can't for the life of me find drivers on the net. Just wondering if any of you folk could help me out with this one. Will appreciate it tonnes

just connect the drive and it works. no drivers needed.

If you want to burn discs, get something like nero for burning all kinds of stuff.

Yeah I've done all that but Nero isn't picking it up as a cd burner. Any other Ideas?

Go to the Nero Website and see if your drive is on the list of currently supported recorders.

    did windows pick it up?

Hmm. In Device manager (WIN 98) and under the Drives properties it states it as a standard Cd Rom device. Perhaps window's just isn't recognising it. Get a newer one then?
