Anyone at that last night? It was phenomenal.

New Colour Soul kicked a whole bunch of ass (Good work Robbie!), even though I only caught the last 3 tunes. That version of Strange Relationship is fantastic.

Ozomatli though... Oh my God... They were out of this world. I'm not even a big fan or anything, but they were breathtaking.

    Anyone else at it?

Edit: Just realised that this could be on the wrong forum. Sorry!

    Aye I was at it.
Fantastic gig! Was pretty impressed with New Colour Soul.

Ozomatli were amazing alright, I love the way they all just came into the middle of the crowd and jammed the last 20 mins of it! Brilliant!

Thanks guys for coming along. I have to say it was an epic of a night, one that will never be forgotten.

To kick off with, it was great to see the place full for us, and what a fantastic appreciative crowd. Thanks fuse and deathfunk for making the effort to come along early for us. Shame we couldn't play for longer, but we were there solely to warm the crowd up, and I think we did ok.

    Ozomatli, oh my god.....

They are ridiculously fcuking good. The stage show was phenomenal, fantastic movement, great crowd interatction, and then there was that whole 10 minute percussion thing at the end!! Sesame Street will never sound the same again! Amazingly, they were able to match their stage show with the quality of their music.

Their second song was sensational, the one with the big oriental string sounds. There was a hip hop song they played about 5th or 6th, with really dark brass riffs throughout, it was pure class.

A pleasant end of evening highlight for me was when I managed to get onto Ozomatli's tour bus. Wow, what a way to travel to a gig! Downstairs there were two lounge areas with wide screen TVs, kitchen with the fridge stocked to the hilt with beers. Upstairs, another lounge with Playstation2, DVD, Stereo system etc. And 14 bunk beds! :D Next tour we do, next tour.....

    Robbie
