Adding RAM to a dell pc

    I have a dell dimension 8300. I currently have 512 pc3200 cl3 RAM in 2x 256mb sticks.
Im looking for another 512, i presume this has to be in 2x256 also (for matching RAM in pairs?)
Can i get RAM of cl 2.5 and will it work? I take it i have to get pc3200 RAM as if i get slower, my RAM will drop down to that speed?
Last question, where could i buy suitable RAM for a DELL pc?
    Thanks

You don't have to match DDR ram in pairs, unless you're running Dual-DDR.

Plug in your PC's model name to the ram finder thing on www.crucial.com/eu/ to find what exact type of memory you need.

Its DDR ram, does that mean it has to be paired?

No (not generally). RDRAM has to be paired. Though since this is a dell it may be quirky about the type of ram it takes, but if you just look it up on the crucial site the memory they supply should be fine.
