loads to do mate. Visit the castle, take a walk around, im sure something will catch your eye.See the gigantic metronome up on the right hand side of the hill where the Castle is, go there and see what thats all about, i didnt when i was there and im really curious about it.

Go out of the city and visit the church made out of sculpted bones. Ask in one of the many tourists offices, im sure they will have loads od ideas.

    Failing that, go get pissed!

I was there last year and there was a old toy museum that was pretty cool and creepy... it was on the grounds of the Castle somewhere...

I went to the Wax Museum in Prague too.. it isn't as good as the wonderful Dublin Wax Museum... it was far too short..

the Sex Museum is a good laugh though...

where would i find this "museum"?

oh... it's in one of the main areas...

I think it was near all the theatres...

lots of fun to be had in there... it was fairly pricey to get into though... well.. relative to other places in Prague... it's about the price you'd expect to pay if it was in Dublin...

Aer Lingus are advertising flights for €72 each way at the moment...

and hotels are pretty cheap over there... I stayed in a 4 Star for a week for about €230... although I found it a very uncomfortable hotel as they constantly kept the heat up way too high in the whole hotel and the window wouldn't even open properly as I was on the 10th floor... bah... got barely any sleep...

If you can wait untill next month, you'll get there for €129 each return with czech airlines from Dublin and they will feed and look after you fairly well for that, they were voted Europes 2nd best airline(after BA) for short haul trips.
They are selling like hot cakes though...
But look at it this way, if you go with czech airlines, it pays for one nights accomadation in the saving over aer lingus :)
looking at the availability in august at the moment you would have to stay for a week to get that lowest fare.
If you want to fly in september though, you could fly out on a monday and fly back on a wenesday , and have two nights there which is a nice short break and waaaaay less expensive than for the full week.

Yeah try trip advisor for reviews and stuff.
    http://www.tripadvisor.com/Search?returnTo=http%253A__2F____2F__www__2E__tripadvisor__2E__com__2F__&geo=1&q=prague&submit.x=12&submit.y=4
is what they turned up on hotels in prague.
You should find a decent one that you can book even now with your credit card .
Some will charge your card others won't.
If you don't have a card, use your folks card, explaining that it won't be charged it just secures the booking.
But be sure and pick one that doesnt charge your card straight away.

Most hotels can also be cancelled within 24 hrs of arrival, but the air tickets at that price would be non refundable.
Trip advisor.com should also have a things to do in prague section.
