DBPowerAMP music converter does the jobbie for ya. ust make sure you grab the "file selector" addon aswell. It makes it 10x easier to encode multiple albums.

    i give it 5 stars.

FYI, converting from one lossy format to another is never a great idea, as you're only going to lose more quality. If you have the original CD's/some other uncrompressed source for the mp3s you'd be better off converting those directly to WMA.

Well said. Fallen into that one myself. MP'3 are so damned handy, it's only when you listen to the original that the subleties appear.

DBPowerAMP will convert from any supported audio type to any other supported audio type (unless of course its DRM'ed wma, not sure if it handles that...).

Yes it will, have done it many times - you'll need to get a codec pack though, should be available on the site. Think there may be a codec download link in the help as well.

Don't convert mp3 to another format!!! You should only use original sources for conversion.

If you're just reconverting to a smaller size for a portable, then there's no problem with reconverting. If you're archiving, then you should really only copy from origionals.
