hp printer

    howdy friend is having a problem with a hp printer.

    specifically a hp laser jet 4 running on windows xp sp1.

    it was fine before but now since he's changed the cartridge about half way through printing a page he gets a paper jam each time

    any ideas?

    if there is a lid on top the ink catridge housing make sure its closed, it may be jamming on the case as the heads go back and forth

    I've posted your problem on Fixyourownprinter.com Printer Repair Forum. Lots of useful info there. Prob a little sensor/feed prob. I have a LJ5 myself which needs TLC, but WAY more economic than an inkjet.
