Hi! Well first of all don't be worried about the language.....Nearly all dutch ppl can speak english and esp. in Amsterdam they can...

Job wise...There are a lot of Irish pubs in Amsterdam aswell....so if you're interested in working in a pub you shouldn't have to worry...

Living in Amsterdam is very expensive rent wise...To be honest I'm not really up to date with the housemarket there....but I do believe it's quite hard to find a 'decent' place....:(

Ppl Wise.....everybody is really individual there as well.....Ppl don't really take any notice of you....even if your walking trough the "kalverstraat" wearing a thong you won't get that many strange looks...:p :dunno:
