MPEG video player with playlist capabilities?

    I need an MPEG (2 mostly) player that can have a playlist; ive been using WMP9 but it constantly crashes when playing videos on me - even on different machines so it seems to just not like my files. I can play these clips in PowerDVD or DivX player without a problem but neither has a playlist option and all files must be manually opened one by one

    Any recommendations for a (free, if possible) player?

    not free but i use power dvd
    it has a playlist and supports mpeg 1 and 2

    Well PowerDVD does have a playlist feature but its a PITA - im looking for something more along the lines of WMP where you can just drag and drop and not have to open another window and close it every time you want to add/remove something, and also you cant see the playlist contents in powerdvd:dunno:
