    I need to convert from Windows Media Audio/Video to SVCD. I want to see if it plays on my DVD Player. What should I use

    tmpgenc will do the job for ya. I used that to un-wmv a video so i could put it into a proper avi file. WMA's are a biatch to convert, especially if they are DRM locked.

    You may have to install some filters to let TMPGEnc access the wmv file. I can't remember what i had to install, but it was some sort of windows media filters from the microsoft site. Do a google if you can't open the file in TMPGEnc, and if you cant find the answer, i'll try find the stuff for ya.
