Flight Delay

Right now I'm sitting at an internet kiosk in Shannon airport. My flight to boston is delayed by 6 hours. Think i'm going to miss my connecting bus to where i'm working for the summer in cape cod. Going to have to get a hotel. Grrrrrrr Aerlingus :mad:

So, what is the longest you have been delayed by. I was stuck for 11hrs over night in a small greek airport a few years ago.

Don't worry busses to cape cod every hour or so

I was stuck in Dublin airport for about 4 or 5 hours though it seemed like an eternity, and I really thought I was going to miss my connecting flight out of Toronto. When I got to Toronto, it was past the scheduled time of my flight, so I queued for about an hour at the Air Canada desk to try get on another flight. I mean, it was huge queue, there must've been some other problems cos it was very busy. Anyway, I get to the top of the queue, show them my ticket, and they tell me "Oh, that flight was delayed too. Just go upstairs to the boarding gate"
So I was very lucky in that both of my flights managed to get themselves delayed enough so that it still worked out for me. I felt like an idiot for queuing that long though when my flight was still there and I could've potentially still missed it.

i was delayed in dublin airport a few years ago for 8 hours and that was just going to tenerife!!!
