Ok i'm putting together a comp right now.
In a red and a black wire, the red's obviously positive right?
In a green and a black wire, which one's positive??

I presume it's a front panel connector, and generally the lighter colours are positive (white, green, orange). Connecting an led the wrong way around just means it won't work, there's no risk of short circuit.
