right my laptops dvd rom was switched from eu region 2 to american region 1 . but unlucky for me there was no region changes left how can i switch the region . i rember looking b4 for a region free thing but no luck has anyone tried and had success with these ?

Flash the firmware. http://forum.rpc1.org

You might also need software to get windows to reset its own region change counter.
