eircom webmail oddity

    I've an eircom email and use webmail to view it. Thing is though that recently that it keeps logging me out. I login, it checks for new mail, shows me that there is new mail, I then proceed to click on the link to the inbox and I get logged out. Sometimes I can proceed to read and email but the majority of the time it will log me out. I've been using IE and Opera to access it and I'm having the same problem in both browsers.

    Has this been happening to anyone else?? Any suggestions on what is going on?

    This happened to me all the time (I don't use webmail coz I get 100s of spam emails to that account every day now). I think it has something to do with whatever proxy you're using to access the web, your session info gets lost or something.

    I have two PCs at work, each on a different proxy and on one PC I would always get the problem you describe and on the other there would be no problems whatsoever.

    Regardless of what the cause is, it's shoddy programming by eircom.
