Run by the guy who ran google watch. Which was born as a website as the guy was polluting Google with adverts and they got wise and nuked the links. So it is a FUD campaign by spammers.

People cannot google your personal email. Gmail only allows you to read your own mail file.

As for google reading it. They can no more read it then any other free email system, and there are already tools in place to send encrypted emails via gMail.
