    Hi all.
I recently flashed the FW in my laptop's DVD-RW drive (Toshiba SD-R6112) so that it'll brun 2x on all DVD-Rs (rather than 2x on selected brands that Toshiba tested). It's a 2x rated DVD-R burn speed.

    I tried a Verbatim DVD-R that's rated at 2x, and it failed.

Does anyone know of a shop/website that sells good quality cheap DVD-Rs in Dublin /on the web?

Cheers Daveg - i see that they have a sample pack available - that's a great idea.

Does anyone have experience of the SD-R6112 DVD-RW drive and 2x burning? If so, what media did you use?

    Thanks again.
