    Hey all,
This may be suited to broadband, but it is a linux based firewall :)

Using Ip Cop with a dlink dsl200 usb modem. The line i'm trying to set it up with has a static ip.
Just a couple of questions, which encapulation do i use, I know it's LLC but which one, routed_ip or bridged?

Plus which radio buttons do I chose? PPoE or Static Ip ?
One more thing, for dns settings do I use automatic or manual?

All these settings are on the dial-up page

Thanks for any help that can be supplied :)

    Rob

Afaik you need to use bridged LLC and PPPoE. If they've given you the IPs for the dns servers, use manual.
