My credit card is due to expire soon. Do the banks (AIB specifically) automatically issue a new one or do I have to do anything? Also am I likely to have the new card before the old one expires?

I've checked their website and it's beyond useless.

A new card should be issued to you automatically, normally about two weeks before the end of the expiry month.
