    Im currently tryna change my CAO and Im not sure what Computer course I should do. Have Software Engineering Athlone,Computer Science UCD,Computer Applications DCU..which is the best/any difference in them?? Please help..I've til thursday!!

    I have Computer Science in DIT down as number 1. I've read the UCD and DCU ones are theory based and a lot of people transfer over to DIT. I don't really know though. They're probably all very similar. I have all those ones you have down bar the Athlone one....

    IT's offer more diploma courses and stuff like that. I don't think there's that much of a difference. I'm taking a year out anyway so I can look at this stuff next year :D

    If I were you I'd stick with Athlone as your 1st choice. But thats just me....

    dear god to a degree course rather than a cert-dip-degree one. Its a pain in the rocks having to qualify each year, although it has been made a lot easier from this year. Up until now had to get an average of b- in all 12 subjects, big diff between that and a pass. Wish i had known. *sigh* last yr next year tho. woot, (not a comp course :))
