    Hi..

can anyone help, i have a sales team who go out on the road selling and lately they have asked for the option to somehow get the customers signature onto the laptop via scanning or better still get inputted directly into the laptop itself.

Scanning isnt really an option as its too labourious so i was looking at something like tablet pc's but these are still in its infancy. Is ther any 3rd party device that can hook up to the laptop that will do this?

    Anyone any ideas?

A Graphics tablet like a Wacom one would probably do the trick http://www.wacom-europe.com/uk/index.asp

is there not a way to do it with the touch pad? seems to only work with your finger and not a pen when you press down on it. any pointy finger pens?

we have one of those Toshiba tablets in work here with stylus/pen thing - its very good at recognising handwriting and converting it to typed text. Cool piece of hardware.
