    map editor is included fairly easy to use.

    www.planetbattlefield.com and go to editing forums plenty of tutorials there.

    its very easy to use

    bear in mind though that the editor itself can only do landscaping, if you want to do custom buildings you need a seperate 3d modeling program.

    I believe that MilkShape 3d has now got an export tool for the format that battlefield uses (and its free).

    Also Battlecraft (as it is known) can be quite patronising hiding certain things from you, the map files can be unpacked with the mdt for battlefield, the bits and bobs that make up the maps are explained in this guide
