Finally blagged a copy of Championship manager 03/04, installed it on my pc.

But when the game loads up, the picture just goes all ****'d up?!
Something to do with Direct3D as far as I can see, all the DirectX diagnostic tests work until the full screen Direct3D, when the picture goes all crazy like when I load the game?!

I have the latest DirectX update and the games readme file even says you dont need DirectX to play the game!!

So what am I doing wrong??
Why do computers have to be so damn fussy??
Any help or ideas on the matter would be most appriciated!!

The first thing to try would probably be to find out the Make/Model of your video card and download the latest drivers from the manufacturers website.

Interesting, how exactly would I find out the info about my card??
As I am totally lost when it comes to hardware and drivers!!

Right click on the desktop and go to properties.
    The click the Settings tab.

Is should say it there under display, if not click the advanced button.

What's your machine specs out of interest and what OS are you using?

Also, we have a Championship Manager forum here.

Guess I may hit there website and get downloading, if an update is not downloadable is it likely that id need to buy a new driver??
Cuz Championship Manager maybe isnt worth that hassle...!!

    128MB RAM

Windows 98 Second Edition is required. Is it SE you have?
Also you need a min of a 600mhz processor to run the game.

I can't see you getting it to run on that pc.

A lot of newer games don't support matrox cards. Check the "readme.txt" for CM03/04, it should give a list of supported graphics chipsets.
