Ok tis is just something I thought of, Will I be able to carry the little small camping gas cyclinders in my luggage on a plane, or since 911 will Ryanaer not allow this? Just wondering does anyone know?

    Not a chance in hell.

You can bring the cooker though. Just not the gas, whether used or unused.

No, and it's not just since 911 either - you're *never* allowed to bring compressed gas onto a plane - the pressure differences can cause it to explode, even if it's "empty". It's a universal thing, and was a rule before any of the recent terrorism controls.

A gas cylinder could just combust in mid air like a bomb, I'm sure you can buy the gas at your destination

    Just to add my voice...

As somebody who's job it is to look out for these kinds of things, we'll confiscate it as soon as we find it and that'll be the end of that.

Yea always knew it was a no no, but mates have brought gas away with them a few times
They just seemed to 'forget' how dangerious it could have been...
