Reboot Virus

    What is the name of the current virus that counts down from 1 minute and then restarts your pc, a friend of mine has it but she can't see a name to be able to get a fix?

    I learned a tip the other day which everybody else may know about, but one I think is invaluble. So i'll pass it on just in case you don't know.

    To stop the countdown go to start -> Run and enter 'Shutdown -a' (without the commas)

    just about to suggest the same. damn handy if you're trying to download updates.
    it only works when the actual shutdown dialog is on screen.
    apparently, changing the time will also affect the shutdown viruses... haven't had a chance to check it out yet though
