Travel Insurance

    Ok wheres the best place to get travel Insurance, Ryanair are offering it for €14 for 17 days in Europe, is there much of a difference between these insurance compaiys, I persume If your claiming they will all be slow to pay, if they pay at all !

    I'm not sure how confident I'd be in getting insurance off of a company that prides themselves on being "no frills"... maybe try your bank or travel agent.

    Ryanair's travel insurance isn't provided by Ryanair itself.

    As far as I remember, it's actually quite comprehensive. Still worth shopping around though.

    If you're a VHI member you can get annual insurance for €49. If your're not a member try Ace Travel Insurance . I used them last year and they were pretty good value.

    Like everything, you get what you pay for with travel insurance. A lot of policies are the same, but some of the cheaper ones may have reduced benefits, so see which is the best for you.
