Right folks, Im new to this whole game and am just looking for a bit of advice. Im basically looking to get hardware versions of all the **** you can get for the computer but have no idea where to start. Whats the difference between a normal keyboard and a synth. What exactly is a sequencer and how important is it. What is a groovebox and are these standalone units or do they all need a MIDI connection to a keyboard to produce any sound? Also if anyone could throw out any suggestions on good models and stuff to get started with that would be great. Thanks
