And there will be a plethora of posters wanting to pipe up about how they think the thread is such a troll. I don't find these comments very helpful to be honest.

The fact that a thread is a troll makes little bearing on the threads worth. Even if a thread has dubious troll qualities - it is very possible that the thread can prove useful to others in need with a similar problem. I think this is a win win situation: troller gets his jollies while people in real need get some good advice.

The real unhelpful posts are people calling out "THIS THREAD IS A TROLL". You may as well be shouting out "THE POST I AM MAKING IS OFF-TOPIC, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME". And I would urge any posters to simply ignore such posts instead of getting into a fricking argument about whether or not "this thread is a troll".

This is a temporary sticky.
