    For this weekend only www.onlinegolf.co.uk are selling all their stock VAT free to celebrate the opening of their new website.
    This is a genuine offer as I buy stuff off them regularly and shipping to Ireland is a flat €6.

    Be careful you aren't charged VAT down the line because they "made a mistake".

    No that wont happen. This is how they work it out:
    Under UK Customs and Excise regulations, we are still required to charge VAT on all UK and EU sales – below is a typical example:


    Nike Ignite Driver:

    Price was £249.99. New price is £212.76.
    If you add 17.5% to £212.76 => £249.99.
    The new price is £181.07 + 17.5% => £212.76

    So technically you still pay VAT.
